About Brooke & BF PR

BF PR is a public relations company founded in 2019 in New York. Founder Brooke Filosa has more than 15 years of experience in hospitality communications working with well-regarded chefs, restaurateurs and cookbook authors. For over six years, Brooke worked at Bullfrog + Baum, one of the country’s leading hospitality PR firms, representing some of the largest names in the hospitality industry including Bobby Flay, Paul Liebrandt, Alain Ducasse, Marcus Samuelsson and Missy Robbins. Brooke worked with and traveled to attend national culinary events including SOBEWFF, NYCWFF and Bon Appetit's Vegas Uncork'd. 


Chef Jesse Schenker then recruited Brooke as Communications Director for Jesse Schenker Hospitality Group (Recette and The Gander in New York City) and opened 2 Spring in Oyster Bay, Long Island to much acclaim. Part of this exciting time for Brooke included the launch of Jesse's memoir, All or Nothing: One Chef's Appetite for the Extreme (Harper Collins, 2015), a great opportunity to garner further renown for Schenker. 


Following this, Brooke started her company, BF PR, and has since opened Schenker's newest concept, Four, in Oyster Bay, along with Who's Jac W.? (Manhattan), Multiverse Kitchens (Charlottesville, VA), Insieme Wines & Tasting Room (Oceanside) and Stone Street Wood Fired Grill (Garden City) and more. She is a Long Island native, an enthusiastic home cook, focaccia baker, traveler, beach lover and mother of two. Most recently, Brooke spent time on local non-profit work on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Metro New York leadership team and serves on the Executive Board of her children's school PTA.
